Launch Lineup
"The launch lineup for PlayStation 4 — though I unfortunately can’t give the title count — is going to be stronger than any prior PlayStation hardware. And that’s a result of that familiarity [of hardware design]."

Above is a list of every announced PlayStation 4 game, with many of these games being speculated to release at the system's launch. Industry analysts speculate that PS4 games may cost $69.99, while Sony has stated that it's own games will stay in the $59.99 "price range."

The Next Generation of PS4 Games
It is all too easy to forget the realm of reality when contemplating the seemingly endless possibilities of next generation console games for the Playstation 4. With that in mind, we thought we would share some of our ideas with you while trying to remain realistic, although, we're as excited about the PS4 as you are so don't hold it against us if we get a bit carried away.

Elder Scrolls VI: Tamriel
The total freedom offered in the highly popular Elder Scrolls titles is something we could only dream of back in the days of the Atari. Current generation technology such as the Playstation 3 blew us away with Oblivion and Skyrim, but what about the Elder Scrolls on the PS4?

Elder Scrolls PS4Instead of being limited to only one continent of Tamriel, as players have been for the past three Elder Scrolls games, would the Playstation 4 be strong enough to let us roam around the whole world of Tamriel similar to the first Elder Scrolls game, Arena? Imagine being able to travel to the homelands of every race you've met in the games or having an adventure so epic it spans the entire world.

Fans of Skyrim will remember that hidden on the disc was the entire landmass of Tamriel, including the continents of Morrowind and Cyrodiil. While we did get one piece of downloadable content for Skyrim that took place in Morrowind, what we never did get was the hoped for expansion of being able to visit large swathes of land from the rest of Tamriel. This is likely because of the restrictions of the PlayStation 3 and will no longer be an issue with the PlayStation 4.

Bethesda obviously wants to create a game that encompasses Tamriel, the fans want it and now the PlayStation 4 can deliver it. The next Elder Scrolls game is going to be massive.

Grand Theft Auto
Grand Theft Auto PS4Arguably one of the best franchises of all time, Grand Theft Auto has made a splash each and every time it appears. It created a genre with Grand Theft Auto III, redefinied that genre with Vice City and San Andreas and proved that it was still the king with Grand Theft Auto IV. Even though Grand Theft Auto V is rapidly approching release, we're already thinking about Grand Theft Auto VI on the PlayStation 4.

San Andreas was easily the best in the series, following the life of a street thug, working your way up through the underworld to eventually own half the city. Players loved the sheer amount of content available in the game, such as purchasing businesses, working out and the numerous sidequests. Sadly, Grand Theft Auto IV went the way of graphics and story over content and although it was still an enjoyable game, it didn't touch the possibilities of San Andreas. So what would happen if we combine the best of both?

The graphical power of the PlayStation 4 combined with the mechanics and features of San Andreas would easily create the best Grand Theft Auto game to date. The game would look good, feature lots of content and, with the added multiplayer from later games, you'd have a game that could keep you hooked for years to come. Grand Theft Auto has gotten bigger and better with each console generation, so it's exciting to see how the PS4 and its new features will influence the series when it hits the next generation.

Uncharted
Uncharted PS4Uncharted is best known for one thing: set pieces, which are those moments you can't wait to tell your friends about. For example, Nathan Drake having to climb up a wrecked train before it teeters off a cliff or trying to escape a burning building while it crumbles around him? Those are the moments Uncharted does best, thanks in part to the graphical abilities of the PlayStation 3.

Now imagine those set pieces on the PlayStation 4, and what you have is a game that could show off the true power of the system. We know Naughty Dog will get the story and gameplay perfect, which is why we're focusing just on the graphics in our potential Uncharted 4. Not to mention, with the Share button you can share your favorite moments with your friends and enhance your discussions about what the best setpiece in the game really is.

SSX
SSX PS4Electronic Arts revived the SSX franchise this generation with great results; the game captured the feeling of past SSX games in single player mode and added an interesting twist to the multiplayer formula. Instead of racing or tricking against other players in real-time, SSX had you racing against ghosts and issuing challenges to friends, enabling multiplayer to happen at any time. You could challenge a friend to a track and, the next time your friend loaded SSX, the challenge would be waiting for him. It was multiplayer on your own terms, whenever you wanted it, without needing to gather all of your friends in one spot.

Thanks to the social features of the PlayStation 4, this feature could be expanded even further for a sequel: challenges could come in the form of video, you can post your best times directly to your friend's profile page and you can upload your epic win directly to a social networking website. This functionality could apply to any of EA's games that use the same system as well, such as Need for Speed and Burnout. In the PlayStation 3 generation, publishers had to use workarounds to get such a system in place, but with the PS4, social functionality is built in and the possibilities are endless.

Insert MMORPG Of Choice Here
DC Universe OnlineIf you really want to set your sights high for future game technology, the easiest way to get carried away is to involve the world of the Massively Multiplayer Online game. These titles have been common on PC's for years now and although the PlayStation 3 has seen some MMOs, such as DC Universe Online, Final Fantasy XIV and Defiance, the PC has remained the home for MMO gaming.

However, the typical World of Warcraft inspired MMO is designed for a keyboard and mouse, which wouldn't translate well to the PlayStation 4's DualShock 4; however, this only leaves the door open for someone to create an action-based MMO. Sony already has the Planetside franchise up and running on the PC with Planetside 2, perhaps we'll finally see it make the jump to the PlayStation 4?

What Would You Do?
Everyone has their favorite gaming title/franchise and most have put enough hours into them to give the developers a thousand new ways to improve their game. If you were given a PlayStation 4 along with a squad of hungry developers at your feet, what improvements would you make to some of today's top gaming titles?

Midnight Club!

Midnight Club!

Goin' Vintage

How about Cool Spot?

Older Games need modern love

I would like to see them bring back the LOK (Legacy of Kain) series. I enjoyed all of the games in the set and was dismayed as to how they left the final game open.

I would also like to see some of the older RPG's get a revamp to bring them up to the level as the designer would have intended.

Legacy of cane was great

Yes bring it back and also shadow man second coming

Shadow man second coming was an awesome game

I miss the days when the story-lines are what held peoples interests in games rather than the hyped up graphics... don't get me wrong the graphics are great but I also like the story-lines. Its like being able to play a good book with the exception you get to make some of the choices. I loved the ME (Mass Effect) series, yea the graphics were good but the compelling story kept you wanting to play it over and over making different choices as you went along (Long live the Krogan Nation...loL).

I would like to see them strive for plots and story-lines as was used in FFVII. Sony has said that they are NOT going to do a remake of FFVII on the current or next generation consoles unless one of the new FF titles actually outdoes FFVII. Even with all the advanced graphics on the current games they still haven't been able to reach the level of sales as they did with FFVII.... I can't help but wonder what was the secret of FFVII that has been missed in all subsequent releases.

Platformers

I'd like to see some great platformer games. Bring back Oddworld as a platformer. That game blew my mind on ps1. Also if we're dishing out $70 for a game, make 'em last longer than 6 hours.

Get creative!

A new tenchu shoud definitely be made! Only unlike the last one (tenchu z) involve more variety of stealth kills and use the environment more often. Oh and I'd like to see a new Genji. Days of the blade sucked. There's got to be a better way to revisit the series than that...and change the controls.

killer

omg ps4 is cool man i going to buy it...........................
.

Playstation 3 games

They should make ps3 games work on the ps4!

PS4 NOT COMPATIBLE with PS3

The wont make the ps4's compatible with the ps3 games

In a way you will be able to.

Even though you will NOT be able to play physical PS3 disc's in the PS4. Should the Gaikai Network service work as planned, you will be able to play ANY PS game (1 through 3)on the PS4 through the internet. Of course how many would actually go back and play a PS1 game ... who knows.

Blizzard Sucks! Band Blizzard

Blizzard products have no resale value. So for me I am not a big fan anymore. I would not play any of their products on the PS4 if i can not resale them like I can with other PS3 games.

socom

socom navy seals would be awesome or socom sas

Psychopaths

I want a game where i can stalk victims and infiltrate their lives.make killing a personal experience in a game.actually be able to feel the emotions that go along with it but not really kill anyone.i think the esrb might have field day though.maybe to soon for that.

What is wrong with you?

call of duty games in ps4?!?!

I hope black ops 2,modern warfare 3 and modern warfare 4(if modern warfare 4 is coming out)will be on ps4.

FxUxCxK you!

hello

Ps3 - Ps4 GTA5

What the heck. What is the point of having gta 5 coming on ps3 when the could leave it for ps4!

Ps4

Why a ps4. Ps3 is going great! With gta 5 and call of duty 1 and 2. They dont need a ps4 of another 2- 3 years! Keep with the great ps3!

a couple things

Eventually pair it with Google Glasses somehow. That would be really cool. Also figure out a way for fps to have an actual gun type controller that doesn't such. Why isn't this already the norm? Finally, begin working with google to synchronize with phones etc at some point. Imagine if holigraph display technology comes out and doesnt suck... then maybe the console itself would be more of a mobile device than a stationary one (ten years from now could be pretty different.)

DayZ

A standalone DayZ game (or something like it) that constantly gets updates would be awesome! Even if it can't be as vast as the computer version, it will still be wayy better and sell better than any other console zombie game on the market...

A Re Birth Of Rail Shooting games?

For the past 10 years or so there has been a decline in quality assured exceptional rail-shooters other than those you find at an actual arcade. I would like PS4 to establish an evolution of this genre considering its high collectibility value seen with older gaming systems. With PS4's "superior" performance capabilities to change the face of gaming; it has the potential to bring the rail shooting genre to incredible new lengths. Not only are they one of the most addictive, rare and sought after prizes; these kind of shooting games were literally the birthing place for light control technology of which all gamers owe a great deal of gratitude and respect.
If any PS4 game developer actually reads this. I own every light rifle & rail shooting game on every game console made. Now, with all the technology you have to work with; canceling the need for physical controllers. I implore and challenge PS4 developers to evolve a game of this making where there has been little progression. I would like to be wowed by a new breed of game instead of all the same rigamoroo.

Arma 3

Yea arma 3 would be a good game on the ps4

ARMA 3

This game would be awesomne on PS4.

Netflix

Let's get Netflix on the PS4 so I can finally never need Microsoft Windows for anything ever again. I hate having to switch from my perfectly good Linux box just to stream movies, so let's see Netflix come to the PS4.

YU GI OH duelist of the roses!!!

a installment of the second coming of that game would be great on the ps4 also added with the graphics displayed with the ps4 so far i think it would fit in perfect with the storyline presented in that game also the gameplay itself..

PS4 God of War

Now dont get me wrong all God o War games are fricken sweet! they did a prequel and nailed it! they should make a god of war game where Kratos is the general of his army and fights the barbarian king!

Gaaaaaaammmmmmmeeeeeesssss

what the ps4 should do is put Bayonetta 2 instead of letting that wack wii u have all the good games and some games with zombies, RESIDENT EVIL 7

Some Nice Games For PS4

Some nice games would be like : Minecraft of course , Another Call of duty but it should be called Iron Wolf , Elder Scrolls IF THEY MAKE THE HALO SERIS FOR PS4 THAT WOULD BE AWESOME!!!!!!! And thats what think we should have on are PS4

Dragon Age!

Long story short, I would love to hear more about the up coming Inquisition. I can't be the only person who has been excited about what they hope to accomplish by utilizing the new system.

This Is A Definite

NCAA BASKETBALL BABY!!!
