PlayStation Experience: 2017 Highlights

PlayStation Experience 2017 opened with a casual, but insightful press conference that used an interview format to talk about some upcoming games with creators.

They also slipped in a few announcements in classic Sony style:

  • WipEout Omega Collection is getting a free VR update in early 2018
  • The new God of War is going to be between 35-40 hours long, according to creative director Cory Barlog!
  • Donut County got a new and very self-aware trailer. It looks like a very chill and relaxing game!
  • MediEvil is getting a remaster for PS4!
  • On December 12th, a free VR experience is being released for The Last Guardian. It's a short little experiment and not a full update, but hey, it's free!
  • Mega Man is coming to Monster Hunter: World
  • We may be able to change our PSN names in the near future, but it's not set in stone

Beyond these announcements, it was a pretty lax conference, but you should check it out if you want to hear some developers talk about their games.

What was your favorite announcement? Let us know in the comments!
