As many of you already know, this weekend is PAX Prime 2013, taking place in Seattle! PS4 Experts has heard from our contacts in attendance that the Sony booth is buzzing with activity as gamers can't get enough of the PS4 offerings!
Announcements have been slim, as PAX is more for gamers and not for announcements, but Sony have still managed to once again announce quite a few new offerings!
The biggest announcement involves Sony creating a new group called the Third Party Division, whose main goal is bringing third party games to its platforms. The example given was Borderlands 2 on the Vita, as Gearbox doesn't have the manpower or time to port the game to a new system. However, Sony is working with smaller developer Iron Galaxy Studios to bring it to the portable system, in essence pairing up publishers and developers to help games reach every Sony system possible.
Sony announced that Warframe was going to be a PlayStation 4 launch title along with Divekick, which just released on the PS3 and PC.
Newly announced games for the PS4 include indie titles Cosmic Star Heroine and Road Not Taken, along with the announcement that Octodad will now support the Move on the PS4.
With Sony unleashing its full arsenal of PS4 games at PAX Prime for gamers to check out, along with still having quite a few new announcements, its no wonder the Sony booth is so crowded!
