Nacon Revolution Pro Controller Review

I got my hands on the Nacon Revolution about 4 weeks ago. Considering Sony has officially licensed this controller, I felt it was important to really put some time into it before I could offer a solid opinion. Keep in mind, this controller is not built for the everyday gamer. It is designed for LAN Tournaments and serious FPS competitive players. This controller does not compete directly against the standard Dualshock 4. That being said, let's get into the nitty gritty.

Horizon Zero Dawn review

Horizon Zero Dawn is one of those games where the hype train is on track and actually pulled up to the station. In other words, the hype is real.

In Horizon Zero dawn, you play Aloy. A young girl that was banished from her village and deemed an outcast at birth. As part of the villages law, it is not allowed for villagers to even speak to an outcast. As a child, Aloy has no idea why she was deemed an outcast, but the harsh treatment of others, inspires her to train in the wild with her mentor, Rost.

For Honor Review

For Honor is not your typical hack n’ slash title. It has elements deeper than button mashing and requires adaption on the fly. I have put my time in and then some. With a deep understanding of how the game works and how it is meant to play, this may be the most honest review you will on the web.

Resident Evil VII: Biohazard Review

The long awaited Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, has finally released to the world and it's finally safe to drop my point of view. I have completed the game 3 times since I got my copy on Saturday, and I have mixed feelings about the overall game. Of the play throughs, I enjoyed the first the most. Mainly because I wasn't aware of what would happen next. Playing through the third time, I am satisfied enough to put game down until some dlc releases next week.

Resident Evil: Umbrella Corps Review

Resident Evil: Umbrella Corps is a pretty interesting game, to say the least. While the market has no shortage of shooters or zombies, Capcom offers a tactical 3v3 multiplayer game that mixes things up a little. For $30.00 USD you can buy yourself a digital copy in the PSN store. You won’t find any physical copies in stores, which helps keep the price down at retail. If you want to spring for the deluxe edition and grab some extra decal along with a couple extra weapons unlocked (and maxed out), you can spend $40.00 instead.

Need For Speed Beta Review

The Need For Speed beta is one of the best beta experiences I’ve had in terms of content. I was really surprised how much of the game was available during the beta and it really gave me a great peek into what the full release will contain. Keeping in mind with any beta you will run into connection issues with the server, bugs and other minor nuisances, but that's the whole point so I’m not going give you the tidbits of agony.

Mad Max Review

Video game adaptations of movies often turn out to be stinkers and that reason alone is enough to smother sales for these types of titles. Pitting a movie adaption against a highly loved and successful franchise is probably not the best to fight an already uphill battle, but then again Mad Max has always been against the odds as a character so why not make it so with the game adaption? Mad Max sales are doing “OK” but would be doing much better if it could have been released a month earlier.

Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain Review

This may be one of the most difficult reviews of my career and for good reason. I have been a fan of Metal Gear since the beginning and there isn't a lot of people that can say that. Back in the late 80's the idea of a stealth game like Metal Gear was pretty much unheard of. We didn't have access to the internet like we do today so there was no getting help on the fly. We did have strategy guides, but it wasn't nearly as indepth as it now and it wasn't as simple as just running to a GameStop to pick one up and thats if there even a guide written to cover the game you're playing.
