Opinion: Life after PS5

It seems to be common knowledge that PlayStation 5 is in the making. Mentioned several times by Sony executives recently, PS5 is happening, but I myself am looking further into the future of PlayStation.

I know many of you are thinking “whoa now! Slow down Travis! I’m not even ready for a PS5, let alone what comes after that!”, but hear me out. I don’t expect to see much of a leap from the PS4 (PRO) to PS5. The chances of the PS5 arriving in the next two years seems likely, but I don’t believe we will be seeing a PS6.

Crash Bandicoot N-Sane Trilogy - Reviewed

Crash Bandicoot returned home last month and it's been rather bitter sweet for me. The moment the game begins, I start getting those nostalgic butterflies in my tummy. What I find really interesting, is that I still play the originals on my ps1, but the remaster strikes with me a different kind of awe. It could very well be the enhanced graphics, but the remaster just does something special for me.

Arizona Sunshine - PSVR Review

If you follow VR news and updates, you’re probably aware that Arizona Sunshine was already a big hit on the Oculus and Vive VR units last year. Luckily for us PSVR owners, Arizona Sunshine has made its way to PS4.

Set in Arizona, you awake to a zombie apocalypse. You step out into the “Sunshine” and begin your journey to find other survivors. With no intelligent life nearby to keep you company, you have no one to talk to except for the zombies and yourself. That being the case, the dialog can be quite funny and kept me entertained.

Friday The 13th The game - Review

Friday The 13th The Game, has arrived and is one of the most highly anticipated Indie titles, to drop on the current generation of consoles. Had the game not carried Friday The 13th in its title, this could have been just game the majority would overlook. Luckily, F13 offers some fun times, but not without technical issues.

Above being said, let's go over the good, the bad and the ugly.

Farpoint w/Aim Controller Review

Farpoint has finally made its debut and along with it, comes the Aim Controller for PSVR. While there is something to said about the Aim Controller’s plain look on the outside, you aren't really looking at the controller at all. You’re wearing a VR headset and that removes the thought of “looks matter” out of the equation.

Looks aside, there is much to discuss in regards to the Farpoint game and the controller (if you purchased the bundle). Let's begin the game review first. As the game can be played without the Aim controller.

Nacon Revolution Vs. Razor Raiju

When it comes to pro gaming, your choice of controller is as important as the loadout on your soldier. Your controller is a weapon in itself, but not all controllers are created equal. What works best for me, might not work best for you. So long as you are using what works best in your hands, the sky's the limit.

I have been going back and forth between the Nacon Revolution and the Razor Raiju, for about 40 days now. Pushing myself to the limits in games like Call of Duty, Battlefield, Overwatch and Titanfall, to name a few. It has been fun and learning experience so far.

Marvel Heroes Omega

Marvel fans, rejoice! We will all be treated to a pretty fun Free-To-Play title, featuring many of your favorite Marvel Super Heroes. Not fully an MMO or RPG, but taking just a few elements from both sides, have given this game enough fuel to leave a good impression.

Marvel Heroes Omega is currently in its closed beta phase on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The developers over at Gazzilion Games, invited me to play this weekend, and I put a lot of time in. Perhaps the most difficult decision was choosing which hero to play as.
