Ask sony then that will break up the fight they are the only one's that know so why don't people just contact them.

Why should they make a whole new console for just graphic inhancments? They should just make a thing to take your PS3 to a store like a game store or something and just have a update instaled; it would probly not be able to do a graphics update in a system update. Another thing is if they do make one it should use the same online network as PS3's so players who don't have a PS4 can play with friends who sold there PS3 to get a PS4. It should also be able to play PS3, PS2, and PS games.

I just hope you are trolling. You said it yourself: graphics cannot be enhanced in a software update. Therefor, a hardware update must be done if that's their goal. Of course they're not going to go the much less cost-effective way of sending out little graphics cards for you to go down and get installed yourself, do you realize how retarded that sounds? Also, the PS3 in it's current state can't play PS2 games, get over it, it's history. Go get a used unit and wallow in your self-pity.

I know that personnel gpu hardware update like ones you can buy like a game and install your self like a hdd slot would convert more pc users to PlayStation 4 don't be closed minded because if you remember the ps3 was outdated by over a year when it came out.

I think instead of spending more money on a new system just up grade it. It would maybe cost less. And it should be conpatble with most ps games. I just agree with you. some people can afford a ps3 now and its been out for a while, as people have a ps3 the ps4 will be out and some people wont have the money to buy one the ps3 will be out "dated". What i think im trying to say is that by the time some people can afford a ps a new one comes out and then whats the point of buying a ps whatever number if a new one comes out and so on and so forth. Im happy for the people who can afford a new game console right away but some of us are not that luck. so i say just have upgrades and updates.

Sony needs to wait a couple more years for a new console. Since psn was down so long they need to work on that more. I have a ps3 and I'm satisfied with mine I don't want towards money on a ps4. I wouldnt even want a 3D console, I hate 3D!!

Sony doesn't care if you hate 3d because Sony doesn't care, period. They think it moves products, they'll throw it on there like it's the last bag of potato chips and everyone must have some now or else. Just like Nintendogs will always sell way more copies than it ever needs to, Sony will focus more on "marketing" and less on "gaming".

Did You Know That They Came Up With Holograph Movies For PS4 TOO

That is so awesome that they came up with holograph disk but. I figured out what kind of movies the playstation 5 is going to play it is VCR Disk and what both of the similar ps1 and psx plus ps2,3,4 movies on the ps5 and that is much more awesome than the junky ps4 because when the ps5 releases in target,kmart and walmart and much more the ps4 won't be the money any more because the ps5 will have an 1000MB Hard Drive and that will be 1,000,000GB and the ps4 will only have 1MB or 1000GB and that will wipeout the ps4 so nobody can't buy it any more then the ps race will go up to the ps9 and that will wipeout the entire list of playstation life so the more it goes on all the way up to the ps9 you won't be able to make something extreamly better because the video game developers will only be able to serve 1MB because the future after the ps9 probably won't be around anymore nothing but a big cloud and end in fire or water and the movie 2012 was showing you what was going to happen some day nothing but a cloud covering the hole entire earth and they won't be able to do video games any more.

first of all you mixed up MB and GB, second the PS company will never stop advancing until the world literally ends. That's how technology always is. Now, it has happened that certain technology is out ruled due to advancement, but if there, smart they will find a way to advance with them, and not fall behind.

I think they should. I LOVE PlayStation. But if they did, they should make it play PS, PS2, PS3,and PS4. I think they should give you free games for buying it. Like give 2 free games like the Welcome Back package was. But that's why I'm loyal to PlayStation. They gave a welcome back program. Anyway, I think they should within Decemeber 2012-December 2014.

Sony specifically said "PS3 will have a 6 year life cycle." but, the thing is PS vita is coming soon, and to release a "PS4"? that is crazy. Wii U and PS Vita are the only competitors in 2012 that we know of.

i bet that it'll cost way too much seeing as how much the ps3 was when it first came out unless Sony uses some unique materials to make the system (reducing the cost of assembly and parts etc...) i would honestly assume that the system would be anywhere from 699.99-899.99....something around those areas. but we'll just have to wait and see dood. hopefully it wont be so much to put us all in debt for years to come lmao
