We know that Sony is currently winning the console war, as the company has just revealed that the PS4 has sold 7 million units while Microsoft revealed that the Xbox One has only shipped 5 million.
However, the war isn't over yet.
New head of Xbox Phil Spencer has gone on the record and stated that at this E3, Microsoft is bringing "more than hype, [it's] bringing games" and that the company is "in it to win it." Should Sony be worried?
We know that Sony isn't resting on its laurels, with the company signing over 1,000 indie developers, introducing the free SHAREfactory app and rolling out PlayStation Now this Summer, but will it be enough? It's a given that Sony will have a few hidden surprises this E3 in terms of new games and new PS4 features, so we're confident that the momentum the PlayStation has amassed will keep it in the lead.
