Used games will work on the PS4 as they always did.
Sony’s stance on used games has now become its trademark marketing campaign for this generation’s console wars. After E3 2013, Sony released a very short ad campaign that simply showed a used game going from one hand to the other. That symbolized Sony’s dedication to gamers and their freedom to share games. Microsoft has since changed its policy for the Xbox One, but the Playstation 4 remains in the gamers’ mind as the console and company that chose not to take away that “feature” from gamers.
